G. L. HUMBLE DIES AT TEMPLE HOSPITAL; SERVICES TUESDAY

G. L. Humble died at the McClosky Hospital in Temple at 4 a. m. Monday, August 1, 1955. He was taken to the hospital ten days ago for treatment. His condition was known to be serious for the past several days. He was the father of Don Humble, Cameron attorney.
Mr. Humble was an accountant, having retired from active work about two years ago. He and Mrs. Humble were office managers with the electrical contractors in the building of Kelly Field at San Antonio.
Mr. Humble was a veteran of World War I and had always taken part in the American Legion for many years but due to his ill health in the past few months, had not been as active as usual.
Funeral services for Mr. Humble were scheduled for 2 p. m. Tuesday, August 2, with Rev. Harrison McLerran conducting the services from the Chapel of the Marek - Burns Funeral Home.
Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery with Masonic Lodge in charge of graveside services.
Survivors included his widow, Mrs. G. L. Humble of Cameron; one son, Don Humble of Cameron; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Hagerty of Denver, Colorado and Mrs. Ruth Redfern of Houston; one brother, Dewey Humble of San Leandro, California; five sisters, Mr. Myrtle McLerran, Mrs. Cardia Bell, Mrs. Mae Morris, and Mrs. Aleyne Pemberton all of Temple and Mrs. Narvie Caperton of Cameron. Ten grandchildren also survive.
