MRS. STEVE SKRHAK DIES AT HER HOME; SERVICES TUESDAY
Mrs. Steve (Freddie) Skrhak died at her home at Buckholts around 5:30 p. m. Monday, August 1, 1955. She had been seriously ill for a number of weeks, having been confined to the bed at her home for several months.
Mrs. Skrhak was the former Freddie Biskup of Cameron, her family having lived in Cameron for many years.
Mrs. Skrhak was born August 4, 1917 in Cameron and attended school here graduating in the class of 1936. She and her husband and three sons have made their home in Buckholts for the past fifteen years.
Funeral services were to be held from the First Baptist Church at Buckholts at 5:30 p. m. Tuesday, August 2. Rev. P. L. Caperton, pastor, at Battetown Baptist church, conducting.
Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery with Marek - Burns Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Skrhak; three sons, Samie Skrhak, Johnie Skrhak, David Skrhak, all of Buckholts; her father, Fred Biskup of Cameron; two brothers, Jerry Biskup of Houston, and Emil Biskup of Cameron; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie McWilliams of Cameron, Mrs. Hilda Wilson of San Antonio, Mrs. Olga Wilson of Temple, and Mrs. Nancy James of Rogers.
