*OBITUARY
KENNON
R. C. "Cage" Kennon, 85, of Cameron, died Monday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness.
Services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Green Funeral Home with the Rev. Mack Brister officiating. Burial was in the Walker's Creek Cemetery near Cameron.
He was a retired shoe repairman. He had lived in Milam County most of his life.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Tex Kennon of Cameron; four sons, Richard Kennon, of California, Nathan Kennon, of Madill, Okla., Dean Kennon, of Temple, and Carroll Kennon, of Waco; two brothers, Bill Kennon, of Cameron and John Kennon, of Houston; a sister, Eva Rippey, of Downey, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
