FRED BOEKER DIES AT HOME EARLY MONDAY
Fred Boeker, pioneer, died at his home at 4 a. m. Monday, April 13, 1942.
Mr. Boeker had been in declining health for some time but during the past few days his condition became critical. Friends in Cameron knew of his illness but were unprepared for the shocking news that came telling of his death early Monday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the family residence with the Green Funeral Home in Cameron directing arrangements. Rev. K. Kalkbrenner, pastor of the Vogelsang Lutheran church, will conduct the service. Interment will make in the Walkers Creek cemetery.
Mr. Boeker had lived in the Walkers Creek community for the past 37 years. He was born December 31, 1876, in Austin County and was one of the early settlers in the Walkers Creek community where he had engaged in farming for many years.
He is survived by his widow and three children as follows: Mrs. Alvin Schiller, Will Boker and Miss Lydia Boeker.
