GEORGE W. ODOM DIED IN CAMERON TUESDAY

George Washington Odom, died at the Cameron hospital early Tuesday, December 11, 1945.
Mr. Odom was 84 years old. He was born near Alexandria, La., and came to Texas at the age of 15 years. The family settled near Bryant Station, where he lived the rest of his life.
He is survived by his widow, six sons: Dr. J. T. Odom of Memphis, Texas, Col. C. C. Odom, Long Island, New York, S. G. Odom, Buckholts, A. C. Odom, Cameron, O. H. Odom, Pampa, Texas, O. W. Odom, Temple; two daughters, Mrs. N. O. Brown, Gainesville, and Mrs. Lola Sparks of Coleman. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 12, 1945 at 3:30 P.M. at the First Christian Church, with Rev. Brown of Bartlett officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery, with Green Funeral Home making the arrangements.
