Services for Donna Stephenson, 46, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 27, 2009, in the First United Methodist Church, Abernathy, TX with Rev. Brian Brownlow, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Stephenson died Saturday, January 24, 2009.

Donna was born September 6, 1962 in Lubbock, TX to Ralph and Martha (Thomason) Edwards. She was raised in Lubbock, TX and graduated Coronado High School and on July 31, 1987 in Abernathy, TX she married Monty Stephenson. She was an EMT for the Abernathy EMS and served on the Abernathy Library Board and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Abernathy, TX.

She is survived by her husband, Monty of Abernathy, TX, 3 children, Shay Brynne Stephenson and Tallen Ashley Stephenson both of Lubbock, TX and Lexus Mariah Stephenson of Abernathy, TX, her mother, Martha Edwards of Lubbock, TX, 1 grandmother, Blanche Sealy of Jacksonville, FL and 2 brothers, John Do of Austin, TX and Jimmy Do of Houston, TX.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the National MS Society, P. O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163
