Graveside services for Hazel Saigling Tennell, 92, of Abernathy were at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 16, 2007 in the Abernathy Cemetery with David Menefee officiating. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Hazel died Saturday, September 15, 2007.
She was born November 7, 1914, in Renner, TX. She married H. S. (Pig) Tennell on July 10, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2000.
Her survivors include; a son Porky and wife Minnie of Abernathy, a daughter Nita Murray and husband Ronnie of Windom, four grandchildren, Mendy Bearden and husband Shawn of Abernathy, Daun Lipetska and husband Jason of Lubbodk, Lara Massey and husband Edward of Bells, and Cody Murray and wife Celize of Windom. She also has 6 great grandchildren, Britt Bearden of Abernathy, Madeleine, Parker and Emma Lipetska of Lubbock, Baileigh and Blayze Massey of Bells.
