Funeral services for Thomas Eugene Bodey, 42, 214 Allen, Stinnett, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home. Bodey was born on Aug. 10, 1929, in Cridersville, Ohio. He grew up in the Panhandle area, living in Skellytown and Stinnett. Bodey died Thursday after an oil field accident near Dumas.

He was married to the former Barbara Rose Griffin in Coleman, Tex. in December 1954, and has been a resident of Stinnett since that Time. He was employed by the Service Drilling Company for the past several years and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Stinnett.

Survivors include his wife Barbara of the home; sons, Thomas Eugene, Jr., Robert Dale both of the home; brother, Orville, San Clemente, Calif.; Kenneth, Stinnett; Homer, El Paso, Tex.; Calvin, Spearman; sisters, Mrs. Raymond Crowley, Jacksboro, Tex.; Mrs. Don Barngrover, Borger; Mrs. Albert Melton, Stratford, Okla.; Mrs. Bill Melton, Loyal, Okla.; Mrs. Shirlen [sic] Workman, Odessa; Sybil Bodey, Stinnett.
