Jim E. Charlton, 60, Borger, died Monday, Aug. 26, 1996 in his home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with the Rev. David Tollett, pastor of the Borger Christian Center, officiating.
Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Charlton was born in Mozier, Ill., and moved to Borger 10 1/2 years ago from Missouri. He worked for the City of Borger. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Glen Charlton on Sept. 14, 1991; three brothers, George Edward Charlton, Vernce Wayne Charlton, and Herbert Ellis Charlton; and a sister, Betty Naomi Kelsey.
Survivors include three sons, Jim Charlton, II of Borger; George Samuel Charlton of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Jonathan Andrew Charlton of Borger; four daughters, Delena Barrowman of St. Louis, Mo.; Christy Dally of Borger; Trisha Charlton of Borger; and Elizabeth Smith of Fritch; five brothers, Willis F. Charlton of Frankford, Mo; Merle B. Charlton of Bowling Green, Mo.; Kenneth Charlton, John Charlton, David Charlton, all of Bowling Green, Mo.; a sister, Laura Charlton of Bowling Green, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 300 S. McGee, Borger, 79007.
