*Obituary
STINNETT - Sylvia Irene Blackmon Cloyd, 77, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Brown Chapel of the Fountains with burial to follow in Stinnett Cemetery with the Rev. J. McGaughy officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Cloyd was born March 29, 1932, in Beckville to Alonza Blackmon and Willie Belle Blackmon. She was a waitress for many years.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Long of Dumas and Jerry Long of Weatherford; her daughters, Kim Gwinn Edwards of Borger and Lori McMahan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; her sisters, Alice Yake of Stinnett, Saundra Murray of Aurora, Mo., and Shirley Ringo of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.
