"Obituary
VERNON, Texas -- Bennie Lou Crisp, 66, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, in Plano, Texas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Crisp and Jimmy Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park.
Mrs. Crisp was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Foard County, Texas. She and Norman Crisp were married Feb. 22, 1953, in Yuma, Ariz.
She grew up in Rayland, Texas, and San Diego. She was a graduate of Lockett High School and attended Abilene Christian University. She was a Protestant and a home mortgage loan official with Bankers Life Insurance Company.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Jan Crisp Hammel of Columbia, S.C.; two sons, Michael Norman of Los Angeles and Jon Charles of Plano; her parents, Ben and Lucille Hopkins of Vernon; a sister, Rita Raney of Vernon; a brother, Jimmy Hopkins of Enterprise, Ala.; and one granddaughter.
