John Cordova of Stinnett passed away November 24, 2016 at his home.
John Cordova was born August 29, 1942 in Taos, New Mexico to Elfido M. and Teresina S. (Tafoya) Cordova. He married Vickey Romero on January 5, 1963 in Hugoton, Kansas.
He was owner of Cordova Brothers Construction in Stinnett until his retirement. He was a pipe fitter by trade.
Mr. Cordova is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Louis Cordova and Toby Cordova; 4 sisters: Mary Ann Cordova, Betty Cordova, Josephine Martinez and Florinda Cordova.
He is survived by his wife, Vickey ; one son, Mario and wife Triska Cordova of Stinnett; 2 daughters, Connie and husband John Monden of Stinnett, and Mary Mancini of El Paso; 2 brothers, Max and wife Isabel Cordova of Tecolotito, New Mexico and David and wife Lauda Cordova of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 3 sisters, Rosalie Cordova of Granbury, Texas, Clorinda Pando of Ogden, Utah and Beatrice and husband Alex Martinez of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Valyncia and husband Trey Mimbs of Abilene, Marina Mancini of El Paso, Marissa Cordova of Amarillo and Diego Cordova of Stinnett; and 1 great grandson on the way.
Rosary will be Friday, November 25, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Brown's Chapel in Stinnett. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Stinnett. Burial will follow at Stinnett Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Stinnett.
