Services for Thomas E. Dewey, 59, of 710 Davis, Stinnett, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Borger at Alexander Chapel of Memories.

The Rev. Vernon Lindbloom, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Stinnett by Alexander Funeral Home.

Mr. Dewey died Tuesday in Magic Plains Nursing Home of Borger.

He was employed as a welder and pipefitter and was a native of Avant, Okla., and a Stinnett resident for nine years.

Dewey married Jean Jenkins, April 10, 1945, in Borger.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and World War II, and he belonged to the Fellowship Baptist Church, the VFW and Local Union No. 196 Pipefitters Union.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jean; a son, Bruce Dewey, San Diego; two daughters, Mrs. Anita Phillips, Phillips, and Mrs. Paula Gurrey, Fritch; three brothers, Leonard and James, Borger; George of Rapid City, S.D.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Jo Anthony of Enid, Okla., and 11 grandchildren.

The family will be staying at 216 Cook, Phillips.

Memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Disease, Rt. 6, Box 760, Amarillo, 79106.
