FRITCH - Edward L. Doughty, 73, died Tuesday, May 26, 1992 in the VA Hospital in Amarillo.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

A native of Pawnee, Okla., he had been an area resident since 1978. He was a retired Baptist minister. He pastored churches in Pampa, Dumas, and New Mexico. He organized and pastored Bethel Baptist Church in Fritch.

He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Fritch, DAV, and was a World War II veteran.

He married Bernice Mangis, Aug. 9, 1940 in Pampa.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Jim Doughty of Amarillo; two daughters, Mary Sestak of Yukon, Okla.; and Sharon Liles of Fritch; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

FRITCH - Bernice Doughty, 77, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Victory Baptist Church at Stinnett with the Rev. Danny Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery at Stinnett by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Doughty was born Feb. 25, 1924, in Wichita Falls. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Jim Doughty of Fritch; a daughter, Mary Sestak of Yukon, Okla.; three sisters, Leola Roper of Fritch, Irene Miller of Gustine and Geneva Glick of Turpin, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren
