SPEARMAN - B.C. "Buck" Gidley, 66, died at 11 a.m. Monday in Hansford Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Spearman. The Rev. Russell Pogue, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Stinnett by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Gidley had been a resident of Spearman for 11 years and had previously lived in Stinnett until 1967.

He was a retired employee of the Gulf Oil Corp. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spearman.

Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; two daughters, Mrs. Gay Dennis of Spearman and Mrs. Gloria Roberson of Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Bea Spurgeon of Corsicana; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Wilson, Earl Gainey, Pat Harvey, Ralph Davis, Roger Yungblut, Ernest Archer, Cecil Darden, and A.E. Lusby Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Gulf Oil Corp.
