L. Faye Gipson, 75, passed from this life Wednesday, April 22, 2015. She was born in Pie Town, New Mexico on December 22, 1939. She had been a resident of Stinnett, Texas, since 1969.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett, Pastors Jimmy Lewis and Ray Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive guest from 6-8 pm Friday, April 24, 2015 at the funeral home.

Faye was a long time member and Sunday school teacher at Victory Baptist Church of Stinnett, Texas. She also worked in the registrar’s office at Frank Phillips College for 18 years.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Birdi and Sarah Lola Perry; her adoptive parents, Emmett and Jewel Rimmer; her step father, Oliver Glenn; brothers, Houston Perry, Doyle Perry; and infant son, Russell (Rusty) Delbert.

She is survived by her husband, Don of the home; four sons, Rob Gipson and wife Linda of Amarillo, Texas, Rick Gipson and wife Lee of San Isabel, Colorado, Derick Gipson and wife Debra of Jefferson City, Missouri, Dain Gipson and wife Jenny of Hempstead, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; and one brother, Melvin Perry of Aztec, New Mexico.
