STINNETT - Funeral services for Amos Groves, 83, of Stinnett, who died at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Hansford County Hospital in Spearman, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Stinnett Church of Christ.

Tommy Anderson, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Minton Funeral Home of Borger.

Mr. Groves was born in Denton County and moved to Hutchinson County in 1908. He was a farmer and rancher and was at one time employed by the Gulf Oil Corp.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Edger Britain and Mrs. Orin Thompson, both of Stinnett and Mrs. J.H. Morton of Borger, and four brothers, Richard, Ernest and Paul, all of Stinnett, and Fred, of Portales, N.M.
