*Obituary
James L. Crunk, age 98, of Nash, Texas, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 in a local Nashville, Arkansas nursing home.
Mr. Crunk was born October 3, 1912 in Horatio, Arkansas to the late William H. Crunk and Annie Lenora Allmond Crunk.
He was a World War II veteran and retired from Red River Army Depot. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Crunk was preceded in death by his four sisters: Virgie Crunk, Ruby Roland, Emma Crunk, and Virginia Kirsch; three brothers: Charles Crunk, Bill Crunk and Calvin Crunk.
He is survived by his two sisters: Amy McWhorter of Lockesburg, Arkansas; Ida Mae Nutt of Carthage, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Louise Crunk of Dallas, Texas; thirteen nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:30 P. M. Sunday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Fry officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
