Mrs. Zora E. Herring, 78, 212 N. McKenzie, Stinnett, died Saturday morning in HCA Medical Center, Plano.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stinnett Church of Christ. Mr. Pete Hanks, minister, will officiate, and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Chapel of Stinnett.
A retired school teacher at Stinnett grade school, Mrs. Herring was a resident for 32 years, and she was a member of Stinnett Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her son Tommy Herring in 1979.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Herring, Sr., of the home; one daughter, Shirley Hale of Plano; two sons, Jerry Herring of Arlington, and Russell Herring, Jr., of Richardson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
