*Obituary - Jesse
STINNETT - Funeral services for Jesse Frank Hodges, 63, Scott's Acres, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Hodges will lie in state at Ed Brown & Sons Memorial Chapel in Stinnett.

Mr. Hodges died Monday, Oct. 30, 1989, in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Bernice, La., he had been a county resident for 33 years. He was a retired employee with J.C. Berry Dirt Contractors, a World War II Navy veteran, and member of the Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean in 1983, a son Stephen in 1966, and Darrell in 1983.

Survivors include three sons; five daughters; one brother; two sisters and 15 grandchildren.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

STINNETT - Jean Hodges, 53, of Scott's Acres, died at 3:13 a.m. today in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Services are pending with Alexander Funeral Directors in Stinnett.

A native of Rueville, Miss., she had been a Stinnett resident for 20 years. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She married Jesse Hodges Dec. 14, 1944 in Monroe, La.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen and Darrell.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, David of Lubbock, Gary of Stinnett and Michael of the home; five daughters, Pam Jones and Phillis Hodges, both of Stinnett, Debra Hooten of Killeen, Kay Hodges and Gay Hodges, both of the home; two brothers, Jimmy Bates of Jackson, Miss., and A.F. Paris of Greenville, Miss.; and eight grandchildren.
