STINNETT - Funeral services for Kelsie Lee Horton, 63, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stinnett First Baptist Church with the Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor, the Rev. Travis LaDuke, pastor Dalhart First Baptist Church, and the Rev. Paul Simpson, pastor First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch, officiating.

Mr. Horton will lie in state at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Stinnett until service time.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Horton died Saturday, Feb. 19, 1994 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Hennepin, Okla., he had been a Stinnett area resident for 45 years. He was a retired safetyman at Phillips Refinery.

He was a member of Stinnett First Baptist Church, and Panhandle Bird Dog Club. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the Army.

He married Ruby Sullivan Feb. 23, 1953 at Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Beverly Adamson of Fritch; and Rhonda Locke of Stinnett; two sisters, Garnett Davis of Humble; and Arletta Mitchell of Kosse; his mother, Maudie Frenchman of Humble; and four grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Asa Wilson, James Beesinger, Ray Cornelison, J.C. Prince, Pat Downey, Brad Carpenter, Jack Lawson, Morris Brame, Dwain Nicholas, and Milford Lambright.

Honorary casketbearers will be members of John McCord's Sunday School class.
