STINNETT - Kenneth Gene "Thumper" Howell Sr., 68, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, in Borger.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Fellowship Church with the Rev. Fines Marchman of Skellytown First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

He loved his family and especially the little ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Slade Allen Howell; and a brother, Mike Howell.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; a son, Kenneth "PeeWee" Howell Jr. of Fritch; a daughter, Traci Howell of Vega; an uncle and an aunt, Waylon and Jean Owen of Fritch; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ty and Crystal Henderson, Brittni and Chelsa, all of Allen, Buddy and Brenda Rich and Byron Tyisha, all of Borger.

The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Betty Joy Howell, 74, died October 28, 2015 in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Grace Church with Pastor Tim Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Betty was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson County and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was born to Jack Alva Marchman and Velma Laura Moose Marchman January 20, 1941 in Sayre, OK. She married Kenneth Gene Howell June 27, 1959 at Rock Creek Baptist Church in Borger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her grandson Slade Allen Howell, three brothers and four sisters.

Betty is survived by her son Kenneth ''Pee Wee'' Howell, Jr. of Fritch, her daughter Traci Howell of Stinnett, her two granddaughters Brittni Smith and Chelsea Henderson, her special friends Ty and Crystal Henderson, Buddy and Brenda Rich and Children.

Casket bearers will be Tom Petty, Jim Johnston, Chad Francis, Danny Engle, Gary Barnes and Joe Lisle. Honorary bearers are her nephews and great nephews.

The family would like to express special thanks to Caprock Nursing Home and Hospice of the Southwest.
