SPEARMAN - Funeral rites for John Thomas Jasper, 80, a Hutchinson County resident since 1902, were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church in Stinnett. The Rev. Freeman Burns, pastor, was to officiate.

Burial was to be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Minton Mortuary of Borger.

Mr. Jasper died Friday morning in the Pioneer Nursing Home in Spearman.

Survivors are a brother, W.L. of Stinnett, and four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Record of Stinnett, Mrs. Mary Cone of Spearman, Mrs. Emma Pilot of Dalhart and Mrs. Lillie King of Chilicothe.
