BORGER - Charles "Keith" Johnson, 68, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church of Stinnett with the Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Johnson was born in Clayton, N.M., and had lived in the Borger area since 1959. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Stinnett. He was a letter carrier for the Postal Service for 30 years and worked at Wal-Mart for the past nine years. He served in the Army. He married Mary Cooper on Oct. 5, 1958, at Clayton. He enjoyed flying.

Survivors include his wife; a brother-in-law, Johnny Cooper of Clarendon; a sister, Freida Birdwell of Clayton; five nieces; and five nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice.
