STINNETT - Funeral services for Oscar William Kenney, 79, were at 2 p.m. today in the Calvary Baptist Church of Dumas with the Rev. Jake Armstrong, pastpr, officiating.
Mr. Kenney died Wednesday at Thomas Nursing Center in McLean.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas.
A native of Texola, Okla., Mr. Kenney lived in Stinnett from 1950 to 1979. He has been a resident of Thomas Nursing Center since 1979. He was a retired farmer and custodian for the Stinnett schools. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stinnett.
He is survived by his wife, Layla of Dumas; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Hanna of Dumas and Mrs. Joanne Schultz of Dallas; three sons, Guy of Tampa, Fla., L.G. of Texhoma, Okla., L.D. of Elk City, Okla.; three brothers, Tom of Hot Springs, Ark., John of Skellytown and Jacke of Muldrow, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Wooley of Fort Worth and Mrs. Jane Marler of Panhandle; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
