Funeral services for Ben Froese, age 68 of Seminole, Texas will be held Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Pastor Isaak Fehr officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Froese was born January 22, 1952 in Mexico to Helen (Loewen) and George Froese. He married Katharina Wiebe in Mexico July 11, 1971. He was a farmer and a member of Sommerfeld Mennonite Church. Ben enjoyed being around people and never liked being alone. He especially liked being around his grandchildren. He always had a smile and was very outspoken.

Ben Froese passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Seminole Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Katharina Froese in 1998; two brothers; and one son-in-law.

He is survived by three sons, Ben Froese and wife Anna of Stanton, Texas, George Froese and wife Nancy, and Willie Froese and wife Sara of Seminole, Texas; four daughters, Anne Thiessen and husband John, Helen Rempel and husband John, Tina Klassen and husband Jake, and Susie Froese of Seminole, Texas; one brother, Bill Froese and wife Mary of Canada; four sisters; Maria Tiebolt, Margaret Neudorf and husband Jake, Ann Brady, and Helen Froese of Canada; twenty-one grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. www.boyerfuneralhome.net
