Jerry Raymond Lawrence was born to Earl Edgar Lawrence and Mildred Helen Plumlee Lawrence on November 17, 1951, in Hutchinson County.

STINNETT - Funeral services for Jerry Raymond Lawrence, 22, a resident of Stinnett for the past five months, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Central Baptist Church of Borger with the Rev. David Chadwick, pastor of the Gateway Baptist Church of Lubbock, officiating and the Rev. Leo McMahan assisting.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Lawrence died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at North Plains Hospital following a lingering illness.

He was born Nov. 17, 1951 in Borger. Before moving to Stinnett, he was associate pastor at Plains Baptist Church in Lubbock. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Borger.

Survivors include his wife, Julie, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Mildred Helen Lawrence of Stinnett; three brothers, Richard Alvin Lawrence of Dallas, Luke Ashley Lawrence of Stinnett, Eddie Plumlee of Watsonville, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Spears of Stinnett.
