STINNETT - Allen "Britches" Lemon, 64, died Monday, March 31, 2008, in Wheeler County.
Burial will be at 9 a.m. Friday in Stinnett Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Jim West, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Lemon was born Feb. 19, 1944, in Borger to Ralph and Velda Lemon. He married Mert Cannon on Sept. 10, 1980, in Stinnett.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Vicki Adams of Craig, Colo.; three sons, Michael Lemon and Todd Lemon, both of Borger, and Terry Lemon of Saginaw; a brother, Glenn Lemon of Rio Rancho, N.M.; two sisters, Margie Hughes of Arvada, Colo., and Betty Anderson of Stinnett; and eight grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 517, Stinnett, TX 79083.
