STINNETT - C.R. "Roy" Lindsey, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Gaines, pastor of Stinnett United Methodist Church and the Rev. David Brasher, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Fritch, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Lindsey was born in Healdton, Okla., and had been a Stinnett resident for 47 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army 90th Infantry Artillery. He was a retired employee of Diamond Well Service and was a member of Stinnett United Methodist Church.

He married Christine Cowen in 1942 at Odessa.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jesse Lindsey of Three Rivers, and Jim Lindsey of Stinnett; two daughters, Frances Mack of Fritch and Sandra Greer of Richland, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The body will be available for viewing at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Stinnett.
