STINNETT - Funeral mass for Bernice E. Padilla Melendez, 34, Stinnett, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Guillermo Morales officiating.
Rosery [sic] will be at 6 p.m. today in St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Melendez died Monday, Oct. 22, 1990 in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
A native of Tucumcari, N.M., she had been a lifetime resident of Stinnett, and graduated from Stinnett High School in 1975. She was a homemaker and member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
She married Herberito Melendez in 1979 at Stinnett.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Herberito, Jr. of the home; three brothers, Leonard Padilla of Devol, Okla.; Ricky Padilla and Tony Padilla, both of Stinnett; three sisters, Stella Rodriquez of Dimmitt; Emma Cervantes of Morse; and Tina Padilla of Stinnett; her parents, Eddie and Erlinda Padilla of Stinnett.
The family will be staying at 601 Allen Street in Stinnett.
