Loving husband of Lois
Then he rode beyond the sunset, his silhouette against the sky. He tipped his hat and nodded as he said his last goodbye.

STINNETT - Ray Murphy Jr., 81, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Stinnett High School gym. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Murphy was born March 10, 1929, in Sayre, Okla., to Ray and Lois Murphy Sr. He married Lois Stewart in November 1962.
Survivors include three sons, Billy John Murphy of Stinnett, Joe Ray Murphy of Amarillo and Jerrel Farris of Edmond, Okla.; a daughter, Rene Ann Londagin of Stinnett; two sisters, Charlotte Johnson of Arlington, Va., and Sue Murphy of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
