STINNETT - Opal Darlene Nelson, 69, died Friday, March 28, 2008, in Borger.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Bernstein officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Nelson was born June 25, 1938, in Belen, N.M., to Hext and Edith Marr Hoff. She married Dennis Nelson on Dec. 11, 1954, in Borger.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis; a son, Kenneth Nelson; a daughter, Karla Brown; a sister, Patsy Caswell; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The family suggests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Research Star Chapter, 3440 S. Bell St., Suite 320, PMB 240, Amarillo, TX 79109.
