BORGER - Robert L. Pierce, 79, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Orville Rogers and Willy Adams, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Pierce was born May 10, 1927, in Kiowa, Okla., to Jones Rhinehart and Edna Pierce. He was a security guard at Phillips.

Survivors include a son, Robert Rhinehart Pierce of Stinnett; two brothers, Jones Rhinehart Pierce II of San Diego and Billy Pierce of Lubbock; three sisters, Betty Cook and Jean Vulgamore, both of O'Donnell, and Mary Rogers of Monument, N.M.

The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
