Funeral services for Lester Ray Rannals, 54, of Stinnett, will be at 11 a.m. Friday from the First Baptist Church in Stinnett. The Rev. Jimmy Gilmore, pastor of the Riverview Baptist Church, will officiate and the Rev. William McKee, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will assist.

Masonic graveside rites will be under the auspices of Isom Lodge. Burial will follow under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Rannals died at 12 p.m. Wednesday at North Plains Hospital. He had been an area resident since 1944 and was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church and Isom Lodge 1242. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife Edna Lee of the home; two sons, Leroy and Kenneth, both of Stinnett; two daughters, Mrs. Reba McDonald and Mrs. Dorothy Hayes, both of Borger; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Combs of Amarillo; three brothers, Dee of Honeygrove, Esmel of Paris and Horace of Borger; his mother, Mrs. Cora Bell Rannals of Honeygrove; and five grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be G.W. Williams, A.W. Worthey, E.L. Smith, J.J. Keifer, H.R. Vaughn, H.H. Barrett.

Honorary casketbearers will be his co-workers at Plains Plant.

All Lodge members are requested to meet at Isom Lodge at 212 W. Grand at 9:45 a.m.

BORGER - Edna Lee Rannals, 83, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riverview Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor, and Scott Wallace, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Rannals was born July 4, 1922, in Denison. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Leroy Rannals and Kenneth Rannals, both of Stinnett; a daughter, Reba McDonald of Stinnett; a sister, Ina Mae Bowden of Paris; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
