FRITCH - Opal Rhett, 65, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with the Rev. Bruce Given, pastor of the Abundant Life Fellowship, officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mrs. Rhett was born in Sulphur Springs and had lived in Fritch for two years. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Enterprise, Kan.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lynn Murry, in 1972 and a daughter, Bretta Murry, in 1959.
Survivors include one son, Billy Wayne Murry of Panhandle; two daughters, Brenda Carroll Smith of Amarillo and Kimberly Michelle Norcross of Lebanon, Mo.; one brother, Willie Lynch of Laken, Kan.; four sisters, Glenna Pearl Vick of Pampa, Faye Andrews of Fritch, Lenna Lee Vick and Mary Pool, both of Wheeler; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
