Juanita Mosqueda Medina, 54, of Vernon, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000,
in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Templo Ebenezer Church in Vernon with the Rev. Domingo Luna officiating. Interment will be in
Wilbarger Memorial Park under direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Medina was born Feb. 3,1946, in Ecleto, Texas, a daughter of Gonzalo A. and Eva Casanova Mosqueda. She married Andres Medina on June 29, 1980, in Vernon.
A resident of Vernon since 1978, she was a member of Templo Ebenezer Church and an employee of Wright Brand Foods. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Estella Triggs of Arlington, Texas, Naomi Medina and Rosanna Medina, both of Vernon;
three sons, Benny Gonzales Jr., Albert Gonzales and Joel Medina, all of Vernon; her parents, of Lubbock; seven sisters, Amelia Vigil of Houston, Maria Sanchez of Childress, Mary Ann Vasquez, Sofia Salazar, Adela Cisneros, Monica Salinas and Josie Vargas, all of Lubbock; three brothers, Antonio C. Mosqueda of Lubbock, Gonzalo Mosqueda Jr. of
Winston, N.C., and Jimmy Cantu of Vernon; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Mosqueda Salazar, and a
brother, Jimmy Mosqueda.
