Fred J. "Blackie" Wood, 70, of 718 Platt died Monday in his home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Park in Stinnett.
The Rev. Vernon Lindbloom, pastor, of the Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Willow, Okla., Mr. Wood had been a resident of Borger since 1927. He was a retired construction worker and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mayme Gallaway of Boise, Idaho.
The family will be staying at 1319 Cotter.
