MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Wayne R. Sever, 68, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1997 in Muskogee Veterans Hospital of Muskogee, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, in Brown's Memorial Chapel of Stinnett with the Rev. Charles Fisk officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.

A former Stinnett resident, Mr. Sever was a native of Tulsa, Okla., and a long time resident of Muskogee, Okla. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army Air Corp. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stinnett. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Helen Sever, in 1972.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Sever of Muskogee, Okla.; one son, Dennis Sever of Midland; two daughters, Deborah Jo Tarpley of Houston and Leslie Jean Prouty of Stillwell, Kans.; one brother, James E. Sever of Lubbock; one sister, Kathryn Curry of San Antonio; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

STINNETT - Services for Mrs. Marjorie Helen Sever, 44, of Midland, a former Stinnett resident, who was found dead in her Midland home Friday, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home of Stinnett.

A native of Megargel, Tex., she has been a resident of Midland for the past 1 1/2 years.

She was born Oct. 24, 1928 in Megargel.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond, of Midland; one son, Dennis, Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Debbie Tarpley, of Germany, and Mrs. Jeanie Prouty, of LaJunta, Colo.; her mother, Mrs. Winnie Roby of Stinnett; one brother, Jimmy Roby of Dumas; one sister, Mrs. E.C. Price, 416 S. Williams; and two grandchildren.
