STINNETT - Funeral services for John Lester Shirley, 63, are planned for 2 p.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church here, the Rev. Ivan Allen, officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home of Stinnett.
Shirley was born July 31, 1911 in Perrin, Tex. and came here from Dumas in 1951.
He worked at Morse Implement Co. and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stinnett.
Survivors include his widow Twila, one son, Eugene, of Stinnett; three brothers, Travis, of Salem, Ore., James and Walter, both of Denton; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Adcock, of Pueblo, Colo., Mrs. Ida Freed of Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. W.A. Perkins of Lefors, Mrs. Elsie Stowe of Graford, and Mrs. Billie Brown of San Rafael, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

STINNETT - Twila E. Shirley, 84, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Stinnett United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen W. Gaines, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Shirley was a resident of Stinnett for 47 years. She was a member of Stinnett United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Shirley of Stinnett; a sister, Alma Lee Quarles of Citrus Heights, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065.
