STINNETT - James Daniel Sotelo, 35, died Monday, April 25, 2011, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Art Tollett and Randy Lopez officiating. Graveside services will be in Stinnett Cemetery with Raymond Gross officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Danny was born May 27, 1975, in Spearman and had lived in Stinnett since 2001. He married Kendra Teel on April 17, 1999, in Canyon. He was preceded in death by his wife and two children, Marcos Antony and Audrey Marie, on March 30, 2010.
He married Cindy Medina on Aug. 21, 2010, in Amarillo. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and was fulfilling his dream of owning and managing Arrant Body Shop.
Danny's warm smile and never-ending sense of humor will be greatly missed. Throughout his illness, as with everything else in his life, he always looked on the bright side. In fact, he was known for saying, "It's gonna be O.K."
Survivors include his parents, Juan and Paula Sotelo of Stinnett; his wife, Cindy Sotelo; a son, Kameron Miguel Sotelo of Stinnett; three daughters, Aaliyah Sotelo and Morgan Bull, both of Stinnett, and Ashley Rodriguez and husband Joshua of Amarillo; two brothers, Joe Sotelo and Tony Sotelo and wife ReBecca and children Michael and Victoria Sotelo, all of Amarillo; a special cousin, Raquel Saldivar and husband Rudy of Amarillo; and a host of uncles, aunts and friends.
The family will be staying at 1129 Greenough Ave. in Stinnett.
