FRITCH - Carl W. "Stormy" Strom, 76, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery at Stinnett by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mr. Strom was born in Fall River, Kan., and had lived in Fritch for the past 54 years. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He was a crane operator at Phillips Petroleum. He was a member of the Fritch Church of Christ and the American Legion.

He married Dolores in 1974 at Borger. He was preceded in death by a son, David Strom, in 1997.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carla Austin of Houston and Denise Watson of Amarillo; a son, Tracy Norman of Amarillo; two sisters, Violet Kindle of Fort Gibson, Okla., and Mildred Nickles of Kaw City, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home, 11461 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79118.

Dolores “Mimi” Storm passed away at her home Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Amarillo, Texas.

She was born July 10, 1929 in Webb City, Oklahoma to George Wesley and Ruth Mae (Miller) Cunningham.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband: Carl W. Storm, parents: George and Ruth Cunningham; son:Tracy Norman; grandson: Devin Wesley Cooper; and great grandson: Zack Austin.

Survivors are- daughter: Denise Watson of Amarillo; grandchildren: Bethany Mabry, Breana Willoughby and husband Tim, Bianca Watson, Briana Joy Watson, Andrew Watson and wife Sarah, Cameron Storm, and Michael Norman all of Amarillo, TX ; Adrian Storm of Borger, TX, Stephanie Cross and husband Randy of Dumas, TX, Sondra Cessna and husband Dwight of Caddo Mills, TX, and Carrie Beth Storm of San Antonio, TX; 15 great grand children and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Storm will lie in state at Browns Chapel of the Fountains in Borger, TX, Tuesday August 22, 2017 from 8AM-5PM and Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 8AM-8PM. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5PM-8PM.

Services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Fritch Church of Christ, Fritch, Texas.

Interment immediately following at Stinnett Cemetery, Stinnett, Texas.
