*Obituary
Services for Joseph N. Tanzey, 66, of 101 Main St., Stinnett, were at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Victory Baptist Church of Stinnett with the Rev. Ray Cobb, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Decatur, officiating and the Rev. Perry Forrester, pastor of Victory Baptist Church, assisting.
Interment was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Tanzey died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo. He had been a resident of Stinnett for 30 years and was a heavy equipment operator.
He was born March 18, 1910 in Dewey, Okla. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and IUOE Local Union 819.
Survivors include his wife, Ada May, of the home; two sons, Alvin E. of Boyce, La., and Tommy of Stinnett; one daughter, Mrs. Janice Hooks of Stinnett; and seven grandchildren.
