STINNETT - W.A. "Tex" Tomlinson, 89, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Stinnett United Methodist Church with the Rev. Landrum Medlock of Amarillo and the Rev. Stephen W. Gaines, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mr. Tomlinson was a retired operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a member of Stinnett United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, the Rev. Jim F. Tomlinson of Sulphur Springs; a daughter, Barbara Davenport of Stinnett; a brother, G.A. Tomlinson Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

STINNETT - Nell F. Tomlinson, 82, died Saturday August 30, 1997, in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 1997, at Stinnett United Methodist Church with Rev. Landrum Medlock, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Sugarland, she had been a Stinnett area resident for 52 years.

She was a former manager with Borger Drug & Gift. She was a member of Stinnett United Methodist Church and United Methodist Woman.

Mrs. Tomlinson is preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Crittenden of Cherry Valley, Calif. and Robert Crittenden of Los Angeles, Calif.

Survivors include her husband, W.A. "Tex" Tomlinson of the home; a son, Jim F. Tomlinson of Columbus; a daughter, Barbara Davenport of Ada, Okla.; a brother, Roy Crittenden of Grandbury; two sisters, Ivilla Bond of Borger and Mary Virginia Gaither of Pustin, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Jack Lane, Hugo Riemer, Doug Kneal, George Snider, Dean Lieb and Joe Cox.
