Jessie E. "Ty" Tyson, 83, 614 Oak, Stinnett, died Tuesday in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Victory Baptist Church of Stinnett with the Rev. Ray Cobb, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Stinnett under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funereal Directors.
Tyson was a retired pumper for J.M. Huber and was a native of Van Zandt County, Texas. He was a Stinnett resident since 19642, and a member of Victory Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Barber, in 1961.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Tyson of the home; two daughters, Patsy Pruitt of Borger, and Gelene Hunter of Dumas; two sons, Gene Tyson of Fritch, and Gerald Tyson of Borger, 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
