FRITCH - Gene Edward Tyson, 72, died Monday, April 5, 2010.
Services will be at 2 p.m. todayin First Church of the Nazarene in Borger with the Rev. Terry Porter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Tyson was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Wichita Falls to Jessie and Eunice Tyson. He married Linda Faylene Sargent in 1958 at Riverview Baptist Church in Borger.
Survivors include a brother, Gerald David Tyson of Borger; a sister, Patsy Ann Pruett of Borger; his wife; and four children, Connie Sue, Cathy Diane, Mark Edward and Michael Gene; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

BORGER — Linda F. Tyson, 73, died Monday, April 14, 2014, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Borger First Nazarene Church with the Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Tyson was born March 20, 1941, in Borger to Buwel Leroy and Thelma Margarette Watkins Sargent. She married Gene Tyson on Oct. 19, 1958, in Borger.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Edward Tyson of Fritch and Michael Gene Tyson of Amarillo; two daughters, Connie Sue Kerbel and Cathy Diane Tyson, both of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Loos-Mustachia of Katy and Theresa Jo Gordon of Houston.
The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association or Borger First Church of the Nazarene.
