BORGER, Jan. 24 - Rosary services will be recited at 8 p.m today in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Oates, 11th and Williams Streets, in Stinnett, for their daughter, Mrs. Betty Veloz.
Requiem mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church here, with Father B.A. Erpen officiating. Mrs. Veloz died Thursday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo and will be buried in Sunset Memorial Park, Stinnett, by Ed Brown's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Veloz is survived by her husband Nicholas Sr., her son, Nicholas Jr., and a daughter, Virginia Lynn, all of the home; her parents; a brother, John Oates of Austin; a sister, Martha Oates of St. Louis, and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mollie Oates of Dallas.
