Funeral services for Dennis Dewayne White, 31, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

He died Friday, May 6, 1994 in an oil rig accident near Skellytown.

Mr. White was born in Pasadena, Texas, and had been a Borger resident for 31 years. He was a member of the Stinnett First Baptist Church.

He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborn [sic], and was serving in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gene White in 1992; maternal grandparents, Orvile Burrows in 1987, and Ruby Burrow in 1968.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; a son, Daniel Dewayne White of Garland; and Melissa Darsey of Borger; two brothers, Kevin E. White of Borger; and Antler White of Springtown; a sister, Katie White of Springtown; his parents, Jim White of Stinnett; and Louaida White of Springtown; and parternal [sic] grandmother, Pearl White of Stinnett.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Costley, Tom Kesterson, John Kesterson, Jamie Watson, Matt Barnhart, and Troy Smith.

The family will be staying at 212 Chapparal in Borger.
