STINNETT - Bill Williams, 65, died Thursday, June 22, at Golden Plains Community Hospital in Borger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of Christ in Stinnett with Zeb Sailors officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Williams was born March 6, 1935 and was a native of Panhandle and a longtime resident of Stinnett. He married Pearl Marie Thompson on Nov. 29, 1957, in Stinnett. He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in Vietnam, where he navigated the B-52 and was engineer for SR-71. He was a retired engineer for Lockheed General Dynamics in Fort Worth. He received an MBA from Texas Christian University. He was a member of Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Williams, in 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Deana Marie Wright of Maypearl and Debra Ann Pugh of Abernathy; his father, Homer Williams of Panhandle; two brothers, Lewis Williams of Stinnett and Ronald Williams of Calgary, Alberta Canada; one sister, Dana Lou Mericle of Niagra Falls, N.Y. and six grandchildren.
Mr. Williams will lie in state at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Stinnett until one hour before service time.
Casket bearers will be Wayne Blankenship, Tommy Ferguson, Clyde Judkins, Merrick Seabourn, Leonard Selvidge and George Snider.
