Mrs. George Ella Burleson, 59, of 1917 Milam, and a former resident of Spearman, died today at 7:10 a.m. in Northwest Texas Hospital.

Mrs. Burleson had been a resident of Amarillo since 1952, moved here from Spearman.

She was born Nov. 6, 1902, in Yoakum County, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Amarillo.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dennis Kern of Amarillo and Mrs. N.C. Jeffries of Borger; one son, Andy Burleson of Gruver; three sisters, Mrs. C.H. McCosmock of El Cajon, Calif., Mrs. Travis Hogas of Los Angeles and Mrs. F.O. Crawford of Spearman; two brothers, Floyd May of El Cajon, Calif., and Felton May of National City, Calif., and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending with the Boxwells of Amarillo.
