SPEARMAN - Mrs. Billie Close, 68, of Spearman, died Saturday in Spearman.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church with Rev. Martin Foster, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Holt Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Close was born in Ozark, Ark., and had lived in Spearman since 1946. She married Lelan Close Nov. 16, 1946 in Canadian. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carole Stump of Spearman and Shirley Morris of San Antonio; two sons, Carl Close of Borger and Mike Close of Spearman; two step-daughters, Mrs. Joye Jackola of Roseda, Calif., and Mrs. Lela Lewis of Canoga Park, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Linnie Copeland of Borger; one brother, Truman Shelton, Hanford, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
